The Horse Park was created in 1992 by a wonderful group of people that wanted to ensure that horse lovers in Knox County and surrounding areas had a safe place to ride. Incorporated in 2001 as a private horse club, an elected group of trustees manage the property. Officers and members raise funds to support the park facility and club activities. There are 60 acres that include riding trails, arena, shelter house, woods, and camping area. New members are welcome. Shows and competitions are open to the public.

Whether it's a Cowboy Challenge, Fun Show, Buffalo Bill Wild West reenactment, or a trail ride. Members enjoy a great time at the Knox County Horse Park. Membership is from January 1 to December 31. Single membership $20; Couple $40; Family $50; Youth $10.
